Hyundai Motor India Ltd., India’s second largest car manufacturer today launched the much-awaited LPG Santro christened the Santro Eco. The new Santro Eco will be Rs 21,500 more than the existing petrol Santro. This move has been taking as a part of Hyundai’s initiative to promote eco-friendly and non-polluting transportation.

The Santro Eco will come with a factory fitted LPG kit and boasts of features that meet global standards of performance and safety. The Santro eco will be powered by a 1.1L, eRLX engine. It will offer its customers a combination of performance and unmatched fuel economy! The ex-showroom Delhi price for Santro eco (GL) is Rs 354,294 and Santro eco (GLS) is Rs 373,357.

The LPG tank in the Santro eco has a special ‘Toroidal’ design that allows intelligent use of space and makes larger luggage room available to the customer. The car runs on 35 litres of petrol and 27.2 liters of LPG, enabling the drives to choose from either petrol or LPG.
