When it comes to a facelift, Suzuki in Japan has done a crazy job to the WagonR. The new WagonR is launched in Japan and another version of it, which is the craziest facelift ever, called the “stingray” based on the WagonR has also been launched. Basically its a box, but the lines, the curves and the lights of the new WagonR is simply great!

The Splash is on its way soon, which is said to replace the Maruti Suzuki WagonR in India. Because of that the chances of these cars getting to India is like almost impossible. But anyway, since its a nice work.. i like it. Its equipped with a 660cc turbo engine producing 65bhp.

Honda Siel Cars India is planning yet another move in India. It has preponed the launch of its hatchback, Honda Jazz. Honda launched the 2009 version of the Honda City and plans to increase its market share in India. HSCI president and CEO M Takedagawa said: “To have a significant presence in the Indian small-car market, we would launch two small cars within the next four years.

The Jazz which is currently the smallest car in Honda’s stable worldwide. By July 2009, the Honda Jazz will hit the Indian roads.The Indian version of the Jazz will come in a 1.2L petrol engine that is specially made for India.

Honda has officially launched the 3rd generation Honda City in Delhi in the 25th of September. The most awaited car, probably throughout the year. The 2nd generation City was a segment leader and was selling in great numbers till Maruti Suzuki’s SX4 came to give a good competition. The City is back redesigned completely with improved engines and features.

The new engine equipped in the new City is a 1.5L i-Vtec engine that produces a class leading power of 118bhp and torque of 149 nm while it assures a good fuel economy. The all new Honda City comes with a 5-speed automatic transmission with paddle shift for a more comfortable ride so that you dont have to keep changing your hands from the steering to the gear. It also come with a 5-speed manual with smoother wire type transmission.

The guys at Vicky.in says that they got the news that the new Honda City currently, the much awaited car, will be launched tomorrow.  The new Honda City will compete against MS SX4, Ford Fiesta, Aveo & Verna. It is expected to come in a 1.5L VTEC engine that will produce an incredible class leading 118bhp @ 6000rpm along with a high torque of 149Nm @ 4700rpm.

The new City is expected to be priced around 8.5Lakhs and will come with paddle shifts with a 5-speed auto-box and also a 5-speed manual transmission. The new generation is longer, wider and lower than the current generation.
