
GM has launched the Daewoo Lacetti in South Korea. The Daewoo Lacetti is the Daewoo version of the Chevrolet Cruze. The Chevrolet Cruze made its official debut at the Paris Auto Show. Though the US would get it as late as 2011 and Europe in 2009, we expect the Chevrolet Cruze (to be known as the Chevrolet Optra in India) to be launched in India by the end of 2009.
The Korean version of the Cruze, the Daewoo Lacetti is equipped with a 1.6L engine that produces 114bhp of power. A 5-speed manual and a 6-speed automatic will be offered to the people in Korea. For India, we could expect this engine as well as a 1.8L petrol engine.

Nissan has officially launched the Pictures of the 2009 Nissan 370Z. Nissan did not specify and other details but only that it will make its world debut at the Los Angeles Auto Show on the 19th of November. Well, personally its not that great though many of you would disagree.
From Nissan’s site “The all-new 2009 Nissan 370Z, the first full redesign of the iconic Nissan Z since its reintroduction as a 2003 model, solidifies the strengths of its predecessor with an unmatched balance of performance, style and value. The all-new Z will go on sale at Nissan dealers in early 2009.”

Suzuki launched the much awaited GS150R (which was previously known as the Lanza) a few days ago. The Suzuki GS150R will compete with the Bajaj Pulsar 150cc, Yamaha FZ16, TVS Apache and Hero Honda CBZ Xtreme. Suzuki launched a promising bike with very good features and that too at a very good price.
We wrote about the launch of the Suzuki GS150R here. The Suzuki GS150R is currently the highest and the most powerful bike in Suzuki’s garage. After launching the GS150R, we would like Suzuki would launch more powerful and better bikes in the 180cc and 200cc category.

GM will be showcasing another one of its concepts at the Sao Paulo Auto Show in Brazil. South America is one of the growing markets for automobiles, which means new and better cars from manufacturers. Chevrolet will be showcasing its GPiX concept which will be officially launched on Monday.
The GPiX will be inspiring a range of new cars which includes a sedan, hatchback and a small crossover variant. The GPiX-inspired hatchback is said to replace the Corsa running in Brazil currently. The GPiX holds the new Chevrolet Grille with a cheeky santa fe-like headlights and cute tail lights.

Previously, i wrote an article on the Yamaha YZF R125 here, informing Yamaha’s impressive plans in the coming years and mainly, the YZF R125. Yamaha Motors India had announced the launch of 2 new bikes from them, but had not named them. The YZF R125’s launch is a rumour that is being spread around which is said to be one of the 2 bikes Yamaha would be launching. The YZF R125 is launched in some countries like Israel and others countries in Europe.
As reported earlier here, the YZF R125, a 125cc bike is a previous option to its elderly YZF R15. The 125cc bike produces an incredible 15bhp and torque of 12Nm. And like the R15, the R125 will also be coming in 6-speed transmission. Till the official launch details are completely out, we request you to subscribe to our blog either through email here or here. Hero Honda has launched the new variants of the CBZ Xtreme recently and new variants of other 3 bikes - Passion Plus, Pleasure, and Splendor NXG. The new CBZ comes with recoloured body and new graphics. But the main change in the bike is the inclusion of the ATFT technology which is found in the HH Hunk.
The new CBZ Xtreme spotted here gets very nice side panels with a touch of red and silver. The taillights gets a nice red colour surrounding and has an ‘X’ mark over there(as seen from the pictures) and silver split grab bars. The rear view mirrors also get the dual colour stylings.

After a lot of rumors and fake launch dates, Toyota finally prepares the Toyota Fortuner for India, which will be launched in India in June 2009. Toyota is not as constant in making launch dates as Honda, which means the launch can also be a little delayed. The face-lifted Toyota Fortuner was launched in Thailand recently.
The facelift includes a new grille and change in headlights and taillights. Toyota will assemble its Fortuner at the Bidadi plant from CKD (Completely knocked down) kits. Toyota after the launch of the Fortuner in India plans to sell 5,000 units a year in India with a price tag of 18 Lakhs.

Inspired by the success and the rate at which Yamaha is boosting up in India, Suzuki had launched the much awaited Suzuki GS150R, which was known as the Lanza. The design was inspired from Suzuki’s GSX-R super bike series.
The Suzuki GS150R is a 150cc bike that develops an output of 13.8bhp @ 8500rpm and torque of 13.4Nm @ 6000rpm and is equipped with a 6-speed manual transmission.

Hero Honda, very proudly has launched new variants of 4 models available in its stable. Hero Honda launched these bikes in a strategy to boost their sales during the festive season. The 22.4% growth of sales in the month of September gave Hero Honda the confidence to launch these 4 variants hoping for more success.
Hero Honda currently launched a new look Hero Honda Pleasure, which will be getting new stickers or graphics (as HH like to call them) and not much of a change with a price tag of Rs 36,950 (ex-showroom Delhi). The new Hero Honda Passion (or Passion pro power start) was also launched, with price starting from Rs 44,000.
