The most active motorcycle maker this year is Yamaha motors that launched the YZF R15, the FZ 16 and the 2 variants of the Gladiator! Yamaha plans more with 2 new bikes and a set of new scooters coming this year. Now rumours are spilling that one of the 2 new bikes Yamaha would be launching is the YZF R125.
The R125 is the lower option to the YZF R15. The Yamaha YZF R125 is equipped with a liquid cooled 125cc 4-stroke SOHC engine with Fuel Injection. This 125cc engine would produce an impressive 15bhp and torque of 12Nm. Seriously very good for a 125cc engine. A 6-speed manual transmission will also be in the list.
Compared to the R15, the R125′s styling is much more aggressive and sportier than the R15! The wheels are not skinny like the R15′s and has an amazing rear rather than the “not so appealing” R15′s rear design. The only defect i see in this is the sporty, but very small rear seat.
The news of the YZF R125 to launch in India is not completely confirmed! But it would be good to see a bike that once sold the Alba and Gladiator is going on advancing so fast with better bikes and impressive dealer showrooms.

Hey guys… I dont think R125 will come to india at all.. I have my reasons for this.. The R15 model have new colour scheme available now.. 3 new colour.. New red, black and yellow.. If you guys look carefully, the colour have the same designed as the R125.. Yamaha know we all want R125.. But, instead of bring R125 here, they just install the same colour to R15.. By doing so, i dont think R125 will ever come to india..

r 125 is a bike made for European riders who don’t bother abt mileage.. note that it has 130 section rear tyres… it makes 15 bhp out of 125 cc…
that means it clearly dosent hav the mileage for releasing on Indian roads…
Second thing its price is way too high.. europen price-abt 3000 euros.. no way it wil be priced below 1 lakh..:(

yamaha r125 price will be above 90,000/- on road instead of this bike 125cc ingine I got karizma zmr of hero honda in 1,03,000/- on road which got 225cc engine more powerful than r125 so if it gonna launch then its too late for yamaha der is a compitator for them…….
