Mahindra has finally officially announced the launch of the Mahindra Xylo, (previously known as the Ingenio) in December. Mahindra says that the Ingenio is the project name for the Mahindra Xylo and not the brand name. The Mahindra Xylo was created with the help of its customers for developing a vehicle around the lifestyle and luxury aspirations of its end customer.

Mahindra defines its Xylo as a vehicle that gives the ruggedness of the SUV, space of a MPV and luxury of a sedan. The styling of the Mahindra Xylo has been co-developed by M&M and the Italian design team. Mahindra had hand-picked 160 engineers to make the Mahindra Xylo and calls it a masterpiece of design and engineering.

The Pune based bike maker, Bajaj Auto had launched a finance scheme for Bajaj bikes. Bajaj Auto Finance Limited (BAFL) has done a great job as several banks are refusing to provide loans for 2 wheelers due to the global depression. Bajaj has 2 bikes on the launchpad, which is the XCD sprint and the Bajaj Blade.

Mr K. Srinivas, The Vice President Retail Finance, says that for a loan of 36 months tenor the free extended warranty offered by Bajaj Auto Finance extends for the entire 36 months, which means that with a 3 year loan you will get an extended warranty upto 3 years.

Q1 - What the hell is AMG? Ok.. so AMG is a company that makes high performance versions of the existing Mercedes Benz cars. Q2 - Why? well.. when you are playing need for speed.. would you like to play with a stock car? definately not.. add some junkies.. and make the car look funky and then race. Thats what AMG is doing.

Yup.. you read the title boy. I was like “wow really??” when automotive blogger vicky wrote about this in his blog. It is said that HM will make this car completely by HM, though some technical components of the car is borrowed from sources.

Hindustan Motors so far has launched 2 cars - the ancient Ambassador aka Amby and the HM Contessa. The Contessa was launched in 1982, meaning HM will launch a brand new car in India after 26 years. HM says that the ‘Design’ is completely their own. Well.. cant wait for that :P.

On a recent post (here), we wrote about the launch of the Maruti Suzuki A Star, including prices, dimensions and its colours. Thanks to Zigwheels, we get the live pictures of the production version of the MS A star. The A star is launched to compete with the Hyundai i10 with the introduction of the new KB-series engine equipped in the A Star. Maruti Suzuki has captured Farhan Akhtar, actor of the movie ‘Rock On!’.

From the Image Gallery we can see the design of the car is really great, better than the Hyundai i10, which is a personal opinion. What i mean is, with such great price, we can get such good looking car. Congrats to the designers!! The interiors are also really impressive especially the dual colour dash board.

Yup.. you read the title, Maruti Suzuki has launched its much awaited A-star in India. This makes it a debut in launch of the car world wide. The A-star concept was made in India and production version is launched in India first. Unlike the European countries, where the A-star will be named the Alto, in India is called the A-star and yes, it will co-exist with the Maruti Suzuki Alto.

The new Maruti Suzuki Alto comes with a 1-litre petrol engine that produces a healthy 67bhp @ 6200 rpm and torque of 90Nm @ 3500rpm. The engine comes with a multipoint Fuel Injection. The engine is mated to a 5-speed manual transmission while an automatic is absent in the A-Star.

Amazing, are you a desperate Honda fan? Are you an eco-friendly guy who has the budget of a Civic petrol? are you nuts? i dont know anything.. but what i know is that the guys at Cubi[CC]apacity launched a post on the limited offer price of the Honda Civic Hybrid at a jaw dropping 13.65 Lakhs. Why this is jaw dropping is because it was launched at a price of 21.5 Lakhs.

The date has been set for one of the biggest launch in the Indian automobile scenario. The Maruti Suzuki A-star is a compact hatch that was showcased in the Delhi Auto Expo in January as a concept. The Maruti Suzuki A-star is known as the Suzuki Alto in many other markets..

Maruti will be bringing the latest K-series engine that will be really fuel efficient. The Maruti A Star aka The Suzuki Alto will be launching in India first on 19th November 2008 before it reaches the European continent.

The growing trend in Indian roads are now electric scooters, though not completely. With a bunch of manufacturers ready to launch scooters and the already established e scooter makers, India will hope for a cleaner tomorrow. Yes, sure.. but for that we would be requiring better high speed and power to catch the youth (20-30) of today.

As the news have spread, today BSA motors has launched the largest range of eScooters in India and at the promised date. Nice. These new eScooters will be manufactured at BSA’s new Ambattur plant. BSA motors have endorsed the beautiful south Indian actress Tamannah.
