Yup.. you read the title boy. I was like “wow really??” when automotive blogger vicky wrote about this in his blog. It is said that HM will make this car completely by HM, though some technical components of the car is borrowed from sources.

Hindustan Motors so far has launched 2 cars – the ancient Ambassador aka Amby and the HM Contessa. The Contessa was launched in 1982, meaning HM will launch a brand new car in India after 26 years. HM says that the ‘Design’ is completely their own. Well.. cant wait for that .

Though this car was to be launched in October, HM says it will be launched in December. Well.. nowadays you cant trust the dates given by automobile manufacturers, so we can expect it a little later too.

Santhanam said “To cope with competition, we have to launch new products. We have been planning this (launch) for quite some time,”. We all hope HM launches a revolutionary car, a car that can change the future of the company. All the best Hindustan Motors!
