Oh My Freaking God!! Is that a Volvo?? That was the first impression i got when i saw this concept. Yes.. sadly its a concept. The masterpiece you are seeing.. err.. i also mean reading about is the Volvo S60 concept. This concept will become a reality in 2010 after the concept itself releases in 2009 at the Detroit Auto Show 2009.

The new Volvo S60 carries much aggressive body designs than the current one, while the current one is currently “yech”. The design is totally ‘coupish’ with the sleek and aggressive design.

The front is the most catchy part, where the headlights make you glare to say wow!!  This is equipped with a grille with the majestic Volvo symbol(well it is.. currently!!). And the wheels?? sporty!

The rear is another amazing feature with lots of curves, bends and cuts. The glass goes all the way from the back till the front. Now this is like heaven on earth. But hey!! dont expect these beauties to come in the production version though.

The magnifique interiors are as surprising as the exteriors. The interiors are thrown or bombarded with features and safety things that one wouldnt even imagine in reality. Dont forget to notice the bucket seats. Volvo will make the debut of its Collision Warming with Full Auto Brake with this car.

The system uses radar, a camera, and a control unit to effectively eliminate low-speed pedestrian collisions and drastically reduce the force of impact in scenarios involving higher speeds.

The Volvo S60  uses a 4-cylinder GTDi (gasoline turbocharged direct-injection) engine producing about 179bhp which will be mated to a dual clutch gearbox.
